» Ocean Bank promoted Terry J. Curry to COO. He replaces A. Alfonso Macedo, who was executive vice president and COO before becoming president and CEO in January. Curry was executive vice president and chief credit officer.

» Steven Burghart, previously a corporate director of operations excellence for Tenet Healthcare and regional team leader, has been appointed COO of Hialeah Hospital, which is part of Tenet’s hospital network.

» Rene Carrasco has been named CFO of Compuquip Technologies, a Miami-based information technology company. Carrasco was previously president of World Investment and TransWorld Financing, Miami Lakes-based finance companies.
